William Walker (“Billy”) was born in the Windy City of Chicago, Illinois. He attended the University of Illinois where he majored in Psychology and History. After graduation Billy worked as a Chicago Public Schools teacher before making his way to DePaul University College of Law. During law school, Billy worked for the Legal Aid Foundation of Chicago which provided free legal services to those living in poverty. Billy graduated law school in 1974 and shortly thereafter became a licensed attorney in 1975.
Billy started his legal career as a sole practitioner in Chicago practicing in both criminal and civil litigation. His reputation and commitment within his local community led to a contract as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Illinois. Desiring warmer weather, Billy made his way out West and became licensed in the state of Arizona in 1978. Here, he served once again as an Administrative Law Judge before opening his own private practice focusing primarily on personal injury work including: automotive accidents, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. Billy has served as Judge Pro Tempore with the city of Tempe and boasts a Distinguished Rating with the reputable Martingdale-Hubbell attorney rating system.
